Manaslu Expedition

Manaslu is the highest peak of the Gurkha massif, and is the eighth highest mountain in the world. It is located about forty miles east of Annapurna . The mountain's long ridges and valley glaciers offer feasible approaches from all directions, and it culminates in a peak that towers steeply above its surrounding landscape, and is a dominant feature when seen from a far.

Itinerary in Detail

Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu .

Day 02 :

Drive to gundu(2,005m). One hour drive from kathmandu for acclimatization.

Day 03 :

Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Pulchoki, the highest point overlooking kathmandu Valley .

Day 04 :

Drive to Gorkha & arrange porters.

Day 05 :

Trek to Khanchok.

Day 06 :

Trek to Khursani Bari.

Day 07 :

Trek to Macha Khola.

Day 08 :

Trek to Jagat (1,250m).

Day 09 :

Trek to Nyak.

Day 10 :

Trek to Prok.

Day 11 :

Trek to Namru.

Day 12 :

Trek to Lho(2,250m).

Day 13 :

Trek to Sama Gaon(3,250).

Day 14 :

Trek to Manaslu Base Camp.

Day 15-48 :

Climbing Period. Mt. Manaslu .

Day 49 :

Cleaning up Base Camp.

Day 50 :

Trek back to Sama Gaon.

Day 51 :

Trek back to Nyak.

Day 52 :

Trek back to Jagat (1,250m).

Day 53 :

Trek back to Macha Khola.

Day 54 :

Trek to Arket.

Day 55 :

Trek to Gorkha.

Day 56 :

Drive back to Kathmandu .

Day 57-58 :

Free day in Kathmandu .
