Pokhalde peak |
 |
|
|
Pokhalde looks like a crenulated rocky ridge
dominated by the vast bulk of Nuptse when seen
from Nuptse. The mountain has a small hanging
glacier, which is best reached along the ridge
rising from the Kongma La, on its norhter side.
The last 50 meters to the top is rather steep so
may need a rope. Although the summit is
comparatively smaller than the rest, it provides
a good viewpoint.

Drive to gundu(2,005m).
One hour drive from kathmandu for acclimatization. |
Day 03 : |
Morning sunrise view of
the mountains. During the day you can visit Pulchoki, the
highest point overlooking kathmandu Valley . |
Day 04 : |
Drive to airport, fly to Lukla (2,800) &
trek to Phakding (2,640m). |
Day 05 : |
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,446m). |
Day 06 : |
Trek to Khumjung (3,790m). |

Stay at Khumjung for acclimatization.
