Upper Dolpo Trek |

The land of Dolpo situated in far west Nepal on
the edge of Tibetan plateau is probably the last
enclave of pure Tibetan culture left. The beauty
of Phoksumdo Lake has been captured in the
feature film Caravan. Endangered species like
Snow Leopard live here. The Tibetan people
continue to live there and carry on their
cultivation, domestication and trade. The Upper
Dolpo has preserved cultures still more in tact.
